CEO Magazine has again named University of Lynchburg’s Master of Business Administration program as one of the best in North America.
The Lynchburg MBA was listed as a Tier One program in CEO Magazine’s 2017 Global MBA Rankings. Only three other MBA programs in Virginia made that list.
Using a ranking system entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria, CEO Magazine aims to cut through the noise and provide potential students with a performance benchmark for those schools under review. The ranking emphasizes the quality of faculty the most, followed by other factors that enhance the student experience, including class size and price.
“CEO Magazine’s data underscores the value of an MBA from University of Lynchburg, which prepares students to be leaders in the rapidly changing global economy,” said Dr. Joseph Turek, dean of the School of Business and Economics. “Our graduate students work closely with highly qualified faculty members who are committed to student success. Our MBA graduates have a track record of advancing their careers as leaders in their organizations or in new fields that the MBA opens to them. We’re proud that CEO Magazine continues to recognize our excellence.”
MBA students acquire the skills, attitudes, and values needed by global leaders facing unprecedented social, economic, and technological challenges. In 2016, the program introduced online classes to provide additional options for those who desire flexibility as they complete their education. “We are committed to providing an education that prepares managers who can lead their companies through challenging times and achieve excellent results,” Dr. Turek said.
