A cyanotype by Siobhan Byrns is included in PHOTO ’16, a national exhibition at the Multiple Exposures Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia, from October 18 to November 27. LC alumni are invited to join Byrns for the artist reception at the gallery on October 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. During that reception, Sam Abell, a photographer of National Geographic fame, will give a talk and present awards.

History professor accepted into Holocaust Museum seminar
Dr. Brian Crim, a Lynchburg College history professor, has been accepted into a competitive faculty seminar that will explore ways that teachers can incorporate “the extraordinary wealth of diaries, memoirs, and other textual and audiovisual sources that represent Jewish perspectives” into lessons about the Holocaust. The program will inform his teaching of a Holocaust history course at LC.
