Over the next several weeks, the Daura Museum of Art will host the Annual Juried Exhibition and the Senior Thesis Art Exhibition, shining a spotlight on artwork created by University of Lynchburg students over the past academic year.
The Annual Juried Exhibition, which opens on Wednesday, April 10, will showcase a diverse array of work spanning various disciplines. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the students’ artistic expression until the exhibit closes on Friday, May 17.
The Senior Thesis Art Exhibition opens on Wednesday, May 1, and closes on Friday, May 17. It will feature senior thesis projects from Lynchburg’s art majors.
Throughout the academic year, the Daura Museum of Art welcomes visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The museum is closed during holidays and University breaks. Admission is free.
