Students from the University of Lynchburg Art Department are painting a piano for Hill City Keys, a public art project that involves schools and artists from across the City of Lynchburg. The University of Lynchburg piano, based on the theme “America the Beautiful,” will be placed downtown at the Lynchburg Community Market.
“The students have been really engaged and have enjoyed developing the type pieces that send messages of strength and hope,” Ursula Bryant, associate professor and department chair, said.
