The University of Lynchburg Wind Symphony and Orchestra will present a Spring Concert on April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Sydnor Performance Hall, Schewel Hall.
Featured on the program are LC music instructor Noemi Lee performing Edvard Grieg’s “Piano Concerto in A Minor,” Op. 16; DeAra Warren, a junior music major, singing “Habanera” from George Bizet’s Carmen; and clarinetist Janice Pickering, a senior music minor, playing John Williams’ “Viktor’s Tale.”
Dr. Oeida Hatcher, dean of the School of Communication and the Arts, will conduct the concert, which is free and open to the public. Because of limited seating, complimentary reserved tickets are required and can be obtained by calling 434.544.8344.
