The temperature in Central Virginia has passed 60 degrees for two days in a row now, but just a week ago the University of Lynchburg campus was blanketed in snow. The LC video production team took advantage of the snowfall to document what a snow day is like at University of Lynchburg.
The first showcases just some of the fun and games students enjoyed when more than a foot of snow fell on campus and canceled classes, giving them an unexpected four-day weekend.
After the snow had started melting, the team captured aerial footage to get a bird’s-eye view of the LC campus in the snow.
Considering the warm start to February and forecasts for continued above-freezing weather over the next week, there is a chance that winter storm Jonas could be the last snowfall of the season. If that’s disappointing to you, hopefully these videos will bring back good memories.
