University of Lynchburg and the Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold the 23rd annual Economic Outlook Conference on Thursday, October 8 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Memorial Ballroom.
The event gives local business and government leaders the opportunity to learn about trends in the national and regional economy and where those trends could take the region in the coming year.
Dr. Ray Owens, a senior economist and research advisor in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, will speak about national economic trends.
Dr. Joseph Turek, dean of the University of Lynchburg School of Business and Economics, will present the regional economic forecast.
