Dr. Marilyn Kallet, author of 16 books, will discuss The Love That Moves Me (poetry, 2013) from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, with a reading at 6 p.m. followed by a reception and book signing. Both events are in Hopwood Auditorium.
Kallet has translated Paul Eluard’s Last Love Poems (Derniers poèmes d’amour) and Benjamin Péret’s The Big Game (Le grand jeu), and co-edited The Art of College Teaching: 28 Takes. She directs the Creative Writing Program at the University of Tennessee, where she is Nancy Moore Goslee Professor of English. Each spring she leads poetry workshops for the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Auvillar, France.
