The Esther C. Olin Lecture/Recital on Piano Performance will feature La música Andalusía: Spanish Nationalism and the Keyboard Works of Joaquín Turina on Thursday, January 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Sydnor Performance Hall, Schewel Hall.
Dr. Cynthia Ramsey, associate professor of music, will give the lecture with performances by Noémi Lee, Dr. Rebecca McCord, and James Chamber Piano Quartet of works by Isaac Albeniz, Enrique Granados, and Joaquin Turina.
The lecture/recital series was established by the LC Music Program to honor Esther Olin, retired piano and composition professor, who taught at the College for more than 20 years.
