The LC men’s soccer team is set for its seventh annual and largest ever soccer showcase this weekend.
A total of 67 teams have signed up with more than 700 participants scheduled to be on campus when the first whistle blows. The players are coming to work on their skills for next season, while also being seen by college coaches with the hope of playing at the next level. Between 20 and 30 college coaches are expected to be in attendance.
“We are really excited about this year’s college showcase. It’s great that so many players are able to come and experience University of Lynchburg and play on our campus,” Lynchburg assistant coach Zach Ward said. “This year’s event should be very competitive and very enjoyable because we have a lot of quality teams here.”
