University of Lynchburg’s Student Activities Board is sponsoring a Monster Bash for area children including face painting, a costume contest, mummy race, and music from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 in Memorial Ballroom, Hall Campus Center. LC community members are welcome to bring their children beginning at 5 p.m.
The Office of Residence Life and the Residential Student Organization are also sponsoring trick-or-treating in residence halls starting in Memorial Ballroom during the same time. Tours usually take 45 minutes and are limited to roughly five children per group to keep the groups at a manageable size. No registration is required.
