The colleges and universities in Central Virginia have formed a committee called the Lynchburg Area Campuses for Equity. The committee has a simple mission: to increase diversity among faculty and staff on our campuses. LACE aims to attract and retain qualified faculty and staff members.

To achieve this goal, LACE is hosting the Higher Education Employment Opportunity event. Hiring personnel from various colleges and universities in the area will be available to assist individuals interested in seeking employment opportunities in higher education. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their current resume or have a digital version available.

The event will represent Central Virginia Community College, University of Lynchburg, Randolph College, Liberty University, Sweet Briar College, and Virginia University of Lynchburg.
