Concerto Competition Semi-finals
Fifth Annual Concerto Competition, featuring the concerti/arias of Beethoven, Haydn, Kabalevsky, Mozart, Vivaldi, Vaughn Williams, Chaminade, and others. Performances every 15 minutes.

Guest Lecture: Dr. David J. Elliott
Internationally-renowned music philosopher Dr. David J. Elliott will speak about the current trends in arts education.

Fall Choral Concert
The Lynchburg College Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Choral Union, under the direction of Dr. Jong H. Kim, professor of music.
Admission is monetary or canned good donation, to benefit the Lynchburg branch of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
Piano Recital: Lee and Amos
Noémi Lee and Naomi Amos, performing Sonata for piano duet in C major, K. 521 by Mozart, Four Polonaises, Op. 75 by Franz Schubert, Souvenirs de Munich by Emmanuel Chabrier, and Jeux d'Enfants by Georges Bizet.

Art Workshop for Children at the Daura Gallery
Led by Kristin Harris, drawing instructor. Illustrate your own version of Alice in Wonderland! The Daura Gallery exhibit, Picturing Wonderland: Sir John Tenniel's Illustrations for the Alice Books, will provide inspiration as we re-read passages of the classic story. Appropriate for children ages 6 to 12. Limited enrollment; make reservations by calling 434.544.8595. $15 materials fee per child.
