Theoria (Philosophy Club) invites you to an open discussion, "Reckoning with Torture."

In defiance of domestic and international laws, the use of torture by the U.S. Government to obtain information from detainees was prolific in the early post 9/11 era. Director Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) joins Bill Moyers to discuss U.S. torture tactics and what should be done about it. (57 minutes)

Children's Art Workshop at the Daura Gallery - 9/15

Join us at the Daura Gallery on Sunday, September 15 to make stick puppets and a stick puppet theatre!

We will be drawing pictures of our favorite American heroes inspired by William Gropper's American Folk Heroes series on exhibit. Then we'll turn the drawings into puppets.

Supplies provided.

Workshop led by Kristin Reiber Harris, former adjunct professor in the Art Department.

For children ages 6 to 14. Pre-registration is required - class size limited to 12 children.
