All Day Slavery Awareness at Shellenberger Field and Turner Gymnasium, including tents with displays on all types of modern-day slavery — child slavery, sex trafficking, and forced labor —prepared by LC students and Beyond Borders. Tents located in parking area above Shellenberger Field.

Community Lacrosse Event: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Freedom to Play 3v3 Intramural Basketball Tournament: 12 - 4 p.m.

LC Baseball Senior Day vs. Bridgewater: 12 - 5 p.m.

LC Women’s Soccer Play Day: 12:30 - 5:30 p.m.

LC Men’s Lacrosse vs. Hampden-Sydney: 7 p.m.

Ticket prices: LC undergrad students, free with LC ID; LC graduate students, LC community, and Lynchburg area college students, $15 with ID; all others, $20.

Tickets available in the Office of Student Activities. Members of the general public may also purchase tickets online.

Sixth Annual Gifts for Gulu 5K Run/Walk and Children's Fun Runs

LC partners with Sports Outreach, Riverside Runners, and the Lynchburg Road Runners for this annual event, which raises money for projects in the Gulu region of Uganda.

All races will start and finish on LC’s Jack M. Toms ’69 Track.

5K race starts at 8 a.m. At approximately 9:15 a.m., the one-mile and one-quarter mile Children's Fun Runs will begin.

Proceeds from this year's races will go toward the construction and furnishing of the Ger House for Trauma Counseling in Gulu.
