Due to the overwhelming response to the first, three-hour workshop on Asperger Syndrome offered by the Virginia Autism Council, University of Lynchburg will hold a second free conference on Monday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon in Sydnor Auditorium, Elliot & Rosel Schewel Hall.
Learning, Living, and Working with Asperger Syndrome is designed to introduce educators, parents and service providers to the characteristics of Asperger Syndrome and several effective strategies that can be used to assist these individuals.
Seating is limited. Registration is required by Sept. 25. For a registration form, contact Dixie McClain at mcclain@lynchburg.edu.
