We are excited to welcome our newest Hornets to an in-person student orientation experience. New Student Orientation, an enrollment requirement, occurs before each semester to introduce new students and their parents and families to many aspects of the University of Lynchburg. You will learn about student life, academic resources, protocols and processes — all necessary components of being successful at Lynchburg.
The goal of orientation is to make each new Hornet feel welcome and establish a connection to the University the moment you arrive on campus.
Spring 2023 orientation takes place on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Residential students move in on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Dates for Summer 2023 orientation will be posted after January.
