Biography
Dr. Travis Kaufman, DMSc, PA-C, is a global health and disaster medicine expert with over 15 years of experience in executive medicine, crisis response, and austere care. He served as Chief Medical Operations Officer for the White House Medical Unit, leading medical contingency planning across 48 countries under three presidential administrations. From 2021 to 2025, he trained over 1,500 personnel in TCCC, MEDEVAC, and CBRNE across 17 nations. Dr. Kaufman now teaches at the University of Lynchburg and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, advancing education in emergency management, disaster medicine, and global health. His work has earned national recognition for leadership, diplomacy, and operational readiness.
