Aging conference draws 400
About 400 participants and 50 exhibitors attended the Beard Center’s Annual Conference on Aging on June 3 with community sponsors including the Centra Foundation, Centra Mental Health Services, and Centra Rehabilitation and Senior Care Services.
Beard Center receives $1,000 donation
LC’s Beard Center on Aging recently received a $1,000 from the Home Instead Senior Care® to fund education initiatives for seniors.
The Beard Center is one of eight area organizations receiving donations made by Chris and Betsy Head, owners of offices serving the Roanoke and Lynchburg areas.
