Pre-Departure Information

Get informed before you go.

It's important to know about international travel and the countries you'll be visiting. Pre-departure sessions focus on cultural awareness, packing, and safety tips.

Lynchburg College Programs

College faculty will prepare pre-departure information for the students participating in their programs. You will be required to attend pre-departure sessions prior to going overseas.

Non-Lynchburg College Programs

The Study Abroad office will plan pre-departure sessions for students participating in semester/year-long and summer programs sponsored by other colleges/universities and study abroad providers.
A series of meetings will generally take place towards the end of each
semester.
