University of Lynchburg racked up numerous this month from the Virginia Association of College and University Housing Officers.
Brianna Miles ’19 won VACUHO’s Outstanding New Resident Assistant award at the statewide RA conference November 4–5. From Reston, Virginia, Bri serves as a residence assistant in Montgomery Hall, one of LC’s residence halls for first-year students.
The Office of Residence Life is seeking qualified undergraduate students to be Resident Assistants.
Resident Assistants fill vital roles in the housing experience for all students here at LC. We are looking for exceptional candidates for our openings.
Besides having a lot of fun and having an excuse to just act goofy on a regular basis, there are numerous development opportunities. Our staff attend conferences, participate in leadership roles, and organize events on campus. We also try to bring home the glory for the department in intramural sports!
We are like one big family here at LC. We work hard to support both our campus and greater community by being involved in service projects throughout the year, and we support our local Salvation Army annually. Being an RA is truly a life changing experience!
Check out a Resident Assistant Interest Event. Attend a session to learn more about available positions and requirements.
