The National Panhellenic Conference is an umbrella organization for all 26 national women’s sororities.
As Panhellenic President, I work with a council of outstanding leaders from the four sororities on campus. As a council we strive to strengthen the bonds between our Greek organizations as well as the rest of the Lynchburg Community. As Panhellenic leaders we have been given the opportunity to work with not only Greek organizations but also the various other organizations on campus.
When I first came to college, I had no idea that I would want to go Greek. I am the first woman in my family that went on to higher education and became an active member in fraternity and sorority life on campus. I never imagined how Greek Life would help transform me into becoming a stronger leader and a well rounded, self-reliant woman. Although it has helped me grow as an individual, little did I know how big an impact Greek life would have on my collegiate experience here at University of Lynchburg. I found my place not only in my organization, Kappa Delta, but also in a system that extends well beyond KD to the campus community. The opportunities provided to me by going Greek have helped me to become a leader and involved member of University of Lynchburg, as well as a more confident version of myself.
Whether you’re already counting down the days until recruitment or you’re still not sure if Greek Life is for you, I hope you take the time to check out all the information on this website and that you find it useful.
