Each class elects a Class Council consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The class officers are responsible for programming for their respective classes and the campus community. Classes sponsor picnics, dances, theme nights, and fundraising activities to unify and support the class.

Marvin Argueta-Sol is a senior pursing a major in International Relations with a minor in Political Science. He is from Fairfax, Virginia where he graduated from Fairfax High School in 2010. Prior to taking his role as the Class of 2014 President, Marvin served with the Student Government Association as the Class of 2014 Treasurer from 2011-2012. Alongside his involvement with SGA, he is involved in many other campus organizations. He is a proud brother of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, a member of the Concert Choir, he has served on the Interfraternity Council, was a Connection Leader and was selected to be a facilitator for LC Leads Emerging Leaders Retreat. Marvin is honored to have been elected as the Class of 2014 President and cannot wait to prepare for a successful senior year.

Laureen Lessard is a senior majoring in Health Promotions with a minor in Biology. She is from Smithfield, Virginia and graduated from Smithfield High School in 2010. Laureen began her career on the SGA team her junior year where she was elected as the Class of 2014 Vice President. Laureen also serves as a member of a variety of other campus organizations. She is a proud sister of Kappa Delta Sorority, a member of the Concert Choir, an executive board member of St. Jude’s Up Till Dawn committee, a part of the Health Promotions Club and serves as an active volunteer on LC EMS. Laureen now whole-heartedly serves as the Class of 2014 Vice President.

Logan Kilduff is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Leadership Studies. She is from Canton, Ohio where she graduated from Culver Academy in 2010. Logan has served on SGA since her junior year when she was elected the Class of 2014 Secretary. In conjunction with her involvement in SGA, she is also the treasurer of the College’s popular Hoop Club. Logan is excited to serve as your 2013-2014 Class of 2014 Secretary.

JJ Graci is a senior Accounting major from Exton, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Downingtown East High School in 2010. JJ began his commitment to the Student Government Association his junior year where he was elected the Class of 2014 Treasurer. JJ is also involved with the College’s Athletic program where he plays on the Men’s Soccer team as a Defender. He is humbled to serve Lynchburg as the Class of 2014 Treasurer.

Erin begin her commitment to the Student Government Association her sophomore year where she was elected the Class of 2015 President. Erin is also involved with Student Nursing Association at Lynchburg College, Hillel, Phi Eta Sigma, and was a member of the Sophomore Year Success Committee. Erin is truly honored to have the position as President and excited to continue her future with Student Government Association.

Shaila is a junior pursuing major in biomedical science and a double minor in English and health promotions. She is from Chester, Virginia and graduated from Matoaca High School in 2011. Shaila serves as the vice president of her class, along with the secretary of RSO and the secretary of Pre-Med, Pre-PA club. She was also an active member of the Second Year Success Committee. She likes to make a difference and be involved in the community, which is why she joined SGA in the second semester of her freshman year. She is honored to serve as the Class of 2015 Vice President for the next two years.

Prior to becoming the Class of 2015 Secretary, Siara was an active member in Senate. Outside of the Student Government Association, Siara is a sister of the Kappa Delta Sorority and a member of the PC Judicial Board. Siara is excited to have a louder voice in the LC community and help her classmate’s voices be heard.

Natalie Pruitt is a junior majoring in Accounting with minors in Fraud Investigation and Marketing. She is from Lynchburg, VA where she graduated with honors from Holy Cross Regional Catholic School in 2011. Natalie is a recently elected member of the Student Government Association. Natalie is also the Treasurer of the Residential Student Organization as well as being involved in other organizations on campus. She is honored to serve as the Treasurer of the Class of 2015 in the upcoming year.

Sean Austin is a sophomore majoring in Economics and has a minor in Leadership Studies and Outdoor Recreation. He was born and raised in Queens, New York. Coming to college was an interesting time for him, as he tried to find what organization fit best for him. Once he joined SGA, he knew it was the right choice for him. He is a Disciple of Christ, Facilitator in the Outdoor Leadership Program, participated in the LC Leads program, Allies Institute Leadership Conference, and presented in the Anderson Leadership Conference. During his First-Year he served as President of the Class of 2016. As President in his previous year, with the help of his class officers, he established a service committee, brought his class together with a black light dance. He had gone to win the New SGA Member of the Year award, and the Leadership award in the Outdoor Leadership Program. Sean is grateful and honored to serve as the President of his Class and thankful for having the support of the Class of 2016 Officers.

Harrison Smith is a sophomore in the Class of 2016. He is a Biomedical Science major with a minor in Computer Science. He was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia where he attended Heritage High School. He is a member of the Westover Honors program. Aside from academics, Harrison is also an athlete. He is a sprinter/hurdler for the Varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field team. He is a brother of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity on campus. Prior to being the VP of the class of 2016, he was a student Senator; along with his position as a Senator, he served on the College Planning and Resources Committee. He was a participant in the LC Leads program and presented at the Anderson Leadership Conference. In his second semester at Lynchburg College, he was inducted into both Phi Eta Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa.

Jennifer is a sophomore majoring in Health Promotions here at Lynchburg. She is from Haverhill, Massachusetts where she graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2012. This is Jennifer’s first year serving on SGA as a class officer. Aside from SGA, Jennifer also is the Sergeant for Lynchburg College Emergency Medical Services and is the Circulation Manager for The Critograph. He is from Berwyn, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Great Valley High School in 2012.
