The Clinical Coordinator plays a key role in managing clinical placements and ensuring smooth coordination between students, faculty, and clinical sites. Your responsibilities include creating and maintaining the Clinical Master Schedule, ensuring compliance with school and site-specific guidelines, and effectively communicating with stakeholders regarding scheduling needs. You serve as a liaison to clinical sites, staying informed about their unique requirements and maintaining affiliation agreements. Additionally, you oversee student and faculty clinical clearance, ensuring compliance with onboarding and attendance policies. You also manage skills lab readiness, including inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply organization. Your role involves resolving student behavioral and performance issues, monitoring student progression, and ensuring clinical hour requirements are met. You represent the Department of Nursing professionally, attend faculty and staff meetings, and work closely with the Program Chair and Clinical Placement Manager to support the department’s mission.
