Student members of the Sociedad Hispánica (Hispanic society) promote Hispanic culture through community involvement and social events.
We seek to bring forth an appreciation of Hispanic customs and an awareness of current problems faced by Latin American communities.

Six Spanish students can live in the Casa hispana, an LC Special Interest house located at 1115 McCausland St.
The Spanish House residents work closely with the Hispanic Society to organize and host events celebrating Spanish language and Hispanic culture.

The Mesa Hispánica is a Spanish conversation table that provides intermediate and advanced students with the opportunity to practice speaking in an informal setting and to socialize with fellow students in Spanish. All students are welcome!
The table is led by peers who are native speakers of Spanish.
