Emergency Report
Emergency Assistance:
In a health or safety emergency, immediately contact Campus Safety and Security (434.544.5555) and/or local emergency services (911).
Non-emergency Report
To address and resolve concerns or problematic behaviors as quickly as possible, students are encouraged to report incidents promptly to the University office responsible for overseeing the area of concern. Listed below are examples of the University’s non-emergency incident-reporting resources.

A report of interpersonal misconduct (dating violence, domestic violence, sexual misconduct, stalking) can be made by using this form and/or by contacting the University’s Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
The University’s Interpersonal Misconduct Policy includes additional information about resources available on and off campus, as well as detailed procedures for resolving complaints of prohibited conduct.
- Clubs and Organizations: 80+ student clubs are available. Also, if you have a new interest, contact the Office of Student Activities for information about establishing a new organization.
- Community service opportunities on and off campus
- Fine Arts: Join a music ensemble or attend a music performance. Take to the stage to act, dance, or sing. Be inspired by art exhibitions and student creations displayed in the Daura Museum of Art.
- Fitness: Work out with friends, take a fitness class, or challenge yourself at Turner Gym’s fitness center or Drysdale Student Center’s fitness and game room.
- Fraternities and Sororities: The varied fraternity and sorority chapters at Lynchburg support fellowship, scholarship, leadership, and service.
- Outdoor recreation, such as canoeing, caving, backpacking, hiking, and whitewater rafting.
- Spiritual Life: Join spiritual life student groups and explore local houses of worship, which represent a broad range of faith traditions.
