Health sciences, public speaking, sports among 2022 summer camps at Lynchburg
A science camp for high school students is the latest addition to the University of Lynchburg’s 2022 summer camps. The program runs from July 24 to 30. As in years past, the University is also offering Debate and Public Speaking to local middle and high school students, as well as several athletics options.
Events planned to educate University community about sustainability, College Lake dam removal
The University of Lynchburg has planned a series of events aimed at educating the campus community about sustainability issues and the College Lake dam removal project. The events will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays.
Lynchburg receives $50K grant to benefit DMSc program, Professional Development Institute
The University of Lynchburg has received a $50,000 grant from the Hall-Halliburton Foundation, a Florida-based philanthropic organization that has been making gifts to select charities since 1977. The grant will benefit the University’s Doctor of Medical Science program and Professional Development Institute.
