The Blue Jays managed to put two runs on the board in the last two innings -- but it was too little too late. With the win, Lynchburg pitching completed their third straight complete game.
The second game of the best-of-three series is Thursday at 12 p.m. If necessary, a deciding game 3 would be played starting approximately 3:30pm.
If Lynchburg wins -- they'll earn their first baseball National Championship in school history.
