University of Lynchburg will present two holiday concerts this weekend. Both are open to the public and admission is free.
At 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1, the Concert Choir and Choral Union, under the direction of Jeremy Craft, will perform for the Winter Choral Concert in Snidow Chapel. The concert will feature holiday music by composers John Rutter, David Willcocks, and Antonio Vivaldi.
“Carols by Candlelight,” an annual program of lessons and carols presented by the chaplain’s office, will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, in Snidow Chapel. During the concert, Lynchburg’s concert and handbell choirs will perform Christmas music.
