According to the newest college rankings by College Factual and USA Today, University of Lynchburg provides a valuable, high-quality education with strength in many academic areas.
The rankings compare colleges nationwide on factors such as their focus on particular majors, financial aid, diversity, graduate earnings, and athletic competitiveness.
College Factual ranked LC in the top 100 schools in the Southeast for overall quality and in the top 36 percent nationwide in “Best Colleges for the Money (all undergraduates).”
The rankings also recognized strength in health sciences. The biomedical sciences major was also named a “Best Value” (top 26 percent nationwide) and “Most Popular” major, recognizing the large number of students graduating with degrees in that major. College Factual also called LC a “Best Value” for health professions and “Most Focused” on fields such as allied health professions and public health.
In the rankings for student athletes, College Factual ranked LC’s women’s soccer team and men’s lacrosse team in the top 20 percent in the nation while also giving high marks to softball, women’s basketball, and men’s soccer.
