Four music ensembles presented a joint concert on November 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Snidow Chapel.
The Handbell choir, under the direction of F. Johnson Scott III, played “Dance Jubilee” by Kevin McChesney, “Carol of the Bells” arranged by Dick Averre, and “Allegro Spiritoso by Greg Underwood.
The Clarinet Choir, directed by Patrick H. Gatti, performed “Trio for Clarinets, Opus 7, No. 1” by Jacques Bouffil; “Allegro Moderato Serenade for Winds” (K.375) by W. A. Mozart, arr. by David Schoor; and “Roumanian Folk Dances” by Bela Bartok.
Ars Nova, directed by Noémi S. Lee, performed “Cuatro piezas románticas” by Juan Ignacio López Carbonero.
The Con Brio Ensemble, directed by Bill Parrish, played “Quatour Parisienne” by Charles Fernandez.
The concert was free and open to the public.
