The University of Lynchburg Orchestra and Wind Symphony will present a holiday concert on December 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Sydnor Performance Hall, Elliot & Rosel Schewel Hall.
Dr. Oeida M. Hatcher, associate professor of music and director of music education/instrumental studies, will conduct. Traditional Christmas music will highlight the program, which will also feature the music of Percy Grainger and Gustav Holst. Graduate music student conductor Michelle Farley will conduct a portion of the program.
The concert is free and open to the public, but reserved complimentary tickets are required. Ticket information is available at the University of Lynchburg Music Office, 544-8344.
