“Russia and its Neighbors,” “Global Crime,” and “China’s Role in Asia” are all topics being addressed by LC professors in the 2010 Great Decisions Lecture Series held each Thursday this month in the Lynchburg Public Library Community Room.
The annual talks, sponsored by the Lynchburg Branch of the AAUW, the League of Women Voters of Lynchburg, the YWCA, and the Lynchburg Public Library, are free of charge. Light refreshments are available from 2:30 to 3 p.m. and presentations begin at 3 p.m. If the Lynchburg Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the presentation for that day will be canceled and rescheduled for the first Thursday in March if possible.
