Dr. Yong Ha Kim was elected to the University of Lynchburg Board of Trustees in February. Dr. Kim, the Board’s first international member, attended the Annual Board of Trustees Meeting in May, 2010. A resident of Seoul, South Korea, he holds two University of Lynchburg degrees: a BA in management (1991) and an M.Ad. in personnel management (1993). A graduate of Heritage High School in Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Kim is Vice President of External Cooperation for Konyang University, which was founded in 1991 by his father, Hi Soo Kim. The university, with locations in Nonsan and Daejeon, was built by the senior Kim with proceeds from his eye clinics.
