The University of Lynchburg equestrian team continues to make strides in their growth over the last few years, and now new hoofprints are forming in the Hornets new home.

A new 181-acre property in Campbell County now hosts the Hornets riders and stables, thanks to an agreement with Patrick Henry Family Services.

The new home has allowed the Hornets to develop a tighter bond with their horses, and each other, as the Hornets start their defense of their NCEA National Championship, won by edging Sweet Briar in the spring, 5-3.

The #1 Hornets and #2 Vixens battle Friday at 1pm at the Lynchburg stables.
