Administrative Assistant - Graduate Studies

Lynchburg College is accepting applications for a full-time administrative assistant to the Dean and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies. Normal work hours are 37.5 hours per week. Provides administrative, office, and database management functions. Position requires administrative assistant experience and strong organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in the use of computers and database management systems. 

Responsibilities include event planning, support for Dean and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies Program, budgeting, and coordinating graduate financial aid programs. Must be a self-starter, committed to accurate work, and capable of handling multiple priorities. 

Post-high school education in business or secretarial-related field, up-to-date computer skills, and two or more years of experience in a higher education work environment are preferred. Candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
