Professor Weeks serves as adjunct professor for the Critical Thinking in Medicine course in the Physician Assistant Medicine Program. She is a NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant and member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
She has clinical experience in emergency medicine, orthopedics and urgent care. She is currently working in Occupational Medicine for HealthWorks in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Professor Weeks graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in Human, Nutrition, Foods and Exercise. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Jefferson College of Health Sciences and a Master of Arts in Physical Education from East Tennessee State University. Prior to joining the faculty, she served as a member of the LC Physician Assistant Advisory Board.
