Masters in Athletic Training Prerequisites
Entry into the MS in Athletic Training program is competitive. To be considered for admission, students must have:
- QPA of 2.75 or higher
- C or better in the following courses:
- Anatomy & physiology (8 credits)
- Chemistry (4 credits)
- Psychology or sports psychology (3 credits)
- Kinesiology (3 credits) or physics (4 credits)
- Exercise physiology (3 credits) or biology (4 credits)
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Current CPR and AED training at the health care professional rescuer level
- Complete additional essay questions
- Two recommendation forms/letters
The application will be available on ATCAS starting June 30, 2023. Applications are due by March 1, 2024. To apply, submit a University of Lynchburg application or visit ATCAS.
