Our two-year, 33-credit program is designed to prepare students for administrative roles in post-secondary institutions. Our program provides a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on leadership, management, and administration in higher education.
In addition to the core curriculum, students can choose to specialize in one of the following emphases, effective Fall 2023:
- Disability Studies: This emphasis provides students with a specialized understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing individuals with disabilities at post-secondary institutions. Students will learn about disability policy, advocacy, and leadership, and develop the skills needed to lead efforts to improve access and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
- Higher Education Leadership: This emphasis provides students with a broad understanding of higher education administration, leadership, and management. Students will learn about various issues and challenges facing post-secondary institutions, and develop the skills needed to navigate these challenges.
- Sport Management: This emphasis provides students with a specialized understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing athletic programs at post-secondary institutions. Students will learn about sports administration, leadership, and management, and develop the skills needed to lead successful athletic programs.
- Student Services: This emphasis provides students with a specialized understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing student affairs and services at post-secondary institutions. Students will learn about student development, leadership, and management, and develop the skills needed to lead successful student services programs.
