What sparked your interest in physical therapy?
I am passionate about the science of human movement and stability. Physical therapists are the masters of movement, so this is a logical path for me to take. I also watched several Youtube videos on the profession and felt what some may refer to as a “spark.”
What’s the most exciting part of the DPT program?
The cadaver lab is a once in a lifetime experience and I am grateful to the people who volunteered their bodies for my class’ education. My lab group (Group One!) is a pleasure to work with in this endeavor. I look forward to every lab as an opportunity to explore, evaluate, question, and appreciate anatomy.
What do you hope to do with your degree?
I hope to be an excellent PT—to make a positive impact on my patients’ lives and to continuously improve my skills. Future Franco can figure out the specifics. He’s usually good at that sort of thing.
What are some of your hobbies?
My primary hobbies include working out, hiking, cooking, drinking beer, and being awkward. My secondary hobbies include art, camping, watching nature documentaries/Dragon Ball Z, hanging out with my fish, climbing things, martial arts, and singing.
What is your favorite quote?
“Failure is possible.”
