New Partnership! Society of Air Force PAs
The DMSc Program at the University of Lynchburg is excited to announce a new partnership with the Society of Air Force PAs, a professional organization serving the needs of active duty, retired, guard, and reserve Air Force PAs. Through this partnership, Society of Air Force PA members are eligible for a tuition discount when they complete the DMSc degree at the University of Lynchburg.

The DMSc Program at the University of Lynchburg is excited to announce a new partnership with Virginia Academy of PAs. VAPA is the professional voice and advocate for PAs and PA Students in Virginia. Medical Science Liaison Society
The DMSc Program at the University of Lynchburg is excited to announce a new partnership with the Medical Science Liaison Society (MSLS). The new partnership will provide incentives and benefits for both members of the MSLS who wish to pursue the DMSc at Lynchburg and to DMSc alumni and students who are considering a career as a Medical Science Liaison.
Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas HealthCare System) in Charlotte, North Carolina
Lynchburg faculty collaborate with Atrium Health’s Center for Advanced Practice to offer Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship enrollees an opportunity to complete the Doctor of Medical Science simultaneously. Atrium Health Fellows follow a customized DMSc plan of study that corresponds with their Atrium Health curriculum, and dually-enrolled fellows may receive a tuition discount toward their doctorate.
AAPA’s Degree Pathway Program
PAs who complete eight one-hour prerequisite courses are eligible for a 15% tuition discount at the University of Lynchburg. The Lynchburg DMSc is the first doctoral degree with a partnership with AAPA.

This regional health care system serving more than 380,000 people in Virginia offers Lynchburg DMSc candidates access to four hospitals, a regional cancer center, and a cardiovascular care and surgery center that’s ranked among the top 50 in the U.S.

Home of the Arrowhead Orthopaedic Surgery PA Fellowship Program. PA fellows from Arrowhead are enrolled in the Lynchburg DMSc.

Our program is also partnered with the Community Access Network, Johnson Health Center, Blue Ridge ENT, Lynchburg Pulmonology Associates, Lynchburg Nephrology, Internal Medicine Associates, and Albemarle Orthopedics.
Our growing partnerships enable DMSc students to practice in emergency medicine, cardiology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, women’s health, orthopedics, nephrology, otolaryngology, pulmonology, sleep medicine, primary care, and other medical specialties. PAs also can continue practicing in the hospitals and clinics where they currently work while earning the DMSc.

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California, is home of the Arrowhead Orthopaedic Surgery PA Fellowship Program (OAPAF), the first orthopedic surgery fellowship program to be accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
