To be eligible for a Graduate Assistantship at the University of Lynchburg, a student must be accepted into their graduate degree program and have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or a graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Graduate Assistants are expected to maintain an overall 3.0 cumulative graduate GPA. Failure to exhibit the expected academic standards will result in a one-semester probation period. If a student is placed on academic suspension, their assistantship will be terminated. Graduate Assistants must also enroll in the minimum number of graduate credit hours each semester to maintain their assistantship.
