SUMMARY:Service Saturday: Food For Families Distribution
DESCRIPTION:We will be working alongside a team from Park View Community Mission’s Food for Families program to assist neighbors with collecting grocery items for their appropriate household size. Volunteers may also support neighbors by pushing grocery carts and loading groceries into vehicles. This is an impactful opportunity for students to support a local non-profit and engaging with Lynchburg’s community.   \nPark View’s Food for Families program is a local non-profit that serves Virginia’s largest client-choice pantry west of Richmond. They invite our neighbors to shop for free non-perishables\, fresh produce\, meat\, dairy\, baked goods\, as well as personal hygiene items.
