Senior Gift Campaign
Like the student Phonathon, the Senior Gift Campaign is a tradition! Each year, a student committee encourages their peers to make a gift, to any fund, before Commencement. The campaign is all about participation and each year, seniors strive to reach their class goal. For seniors, the campaign isn’t just about making gifts, it’s also an opportunity to learn more about the importance of philanthropy and the positive impact private giving has on Lynchburg.
Our goal is to make history and reach 50% class participation. We are LC’s #lastclass, so let’s make it memorable. Your gift can be made in honor of your favorite professor, coach, friend or loved one — anybody special! Seniors who participate will be formally recognized during Commencement. Make sure you are on the list!

Over 30 dedicated Hornets call alumni, parents, and friends each year. Our student callers reach out to ask for gifts of financial support, update contact information, thank donors for their support, and share news from Lynchburg.
Our first Student Phonathon was held in 1974, it’s a Lynchburg tradition! Our callers have raised millions for the institution. The Phonathon runs from September through April. We hope you will take a moment to speak with one of our callers

Faculty and Staff
Annual gifts from faculty and staff are a powerful vote of confidence in the institution. Every year, hundreds of faculty and staff support Lynchburg—like many donors, their gifts range in size, when added together, they provide important resources that helps to keep Lynchburg the special place it is.
