“Lynchburg gives me a new place to call home. I’m extremely grateful for continued support from donors—you truly make a difference in the lives of Lynchburg students and our community.”
– Sarah Mock ‘20
Sarah Mock is a Westover Honors student from Mebane, North Carolina. She attended a small high school, with just 36 students in her graduating class. When Sarah began her search for the right university, she was committed to finding a smaller school with a caring, supportive community that offers unique opportunities for students to get involved and find their passions. After a campus tour, she fell in love with Lynchburg. Sarah will graduate in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in International Relations. Sarah is a recipient of the Hopwood Scholarship.
For more than forty years, the Annual Fund helped make the difference for students like Sarah, by supporting Lynchburg’s most vital needs.
The Lynchburg Fund continues that tradition, and allows the University to direct funds where the need is greatest. With your help, students gain confidence, test themselves in the pursuit of knowledge, and gain a greater sense of self and purpose. Faculty and staff have the important resources they need to help make the Lynchburg experience possible.
