This award, presented since 1987, honors alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to one or more of the following areas of society:
- Professional
- Academic
- Personal achievements
- Service to alma mater
Nomination Deadline
Nominations for all alumni awards will close on Oct. 1, 2024.
Nomination Criteria
- Eligibility requirements: A Candidate must have earned a Lynchburg degree or, in special cases, have attended the school for at least two years and have graduated from another accredited college or university.
- Criteria for selection: A candidate must have made outstanding contributions to one or more areas of society, but not limited to, professional, academic, and personal achievements, as well as service to Lynchburg.
- Nominations: Accepted from all sources
- Other: This honor may be posthumously bestowed. The number of awards to be presented within a given year will be left to the discretion of the executive committee of the Alumni Association.
