- Theatre (BA)*
*You may not combine the theatre minor with this major.
The theatre minor provides students with a well-rounded understanding of the various elements at play on and off the stage itself. No matter whether their interest lies in acting, the technical aspects of theater, management, dance, directing, or theater as a cultural touchstone, students can learn the basics and get the guidance they need to grow creatively within that space.
With broad and deep-reaching course offerings at Lynchburg, you can develop your voice and self-expression, sharpen your artistic eye, build your hands-on shop skills, or grow into a master storyteller — the path is yours to choose.
Between practical experience, theatrical productions, and theoretical studies, students will develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills that can be applied in professional theater settings, education, or even broader fields that value creativity, collaboration, and communication.
