Assistant Professor of Nursing
Dr. Lloyd worked as a Urology FNP-BC from 2002 to 2013. She has worked as a Clinical Liaison for Ambulatory Informatics and has a passion for health information technology. Her MIT and DNP research focused on embedding clinical decision support to improve guideline and adherence. Her graduate work also focused on development of a Neural Network to deliver point of care clinical decision support to providers.
Dr. Lloyd taught for several years on a part-time basis at LC, focusing on fundamental and medical-surgical nursing. She is excited to be at LC during such exciting times. She enjoys connecting with students through innovative teaching techniques and exploring use of IT throughout the nursing curriculum. Dr. Lloyd is also excited and honored to be a part of the wonderful LC community.
