Are you passionate about music? If you have a high level of musical competence in either instrumental or vocal performance, our music program is the place for you. University of Lynchburg is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
We offer two majors (BA) and four minors in music.

What Will I Study?
The music major offers emphases (concentrated study) in instrumental and vocal performance and liberal arts. The music education major offers emphases in instrumental education and vocal education.
You will have the chance to perform in a variety of student musical groups, as well as in off-campus productions, including with a local opera company and symphony.
What Kind of Job Can I Get?
Whether they choose to further their education in graduate school or not (40% do), our graduates get jobs in areas like professional performance, theatre, and teaching.
