University of Lynchburg began a partnership with the nation of St. Lucia in 2003. Since then, we have collaborated on a teacher training program in special education and a school counselor training program, both provided on-site in St. Lucia as well as a series of training workshops and individual courses.
In 2014, we opened our University of Lynchburg on-site campus facility on Morne Fortune near Castries. Course offerings there are designed to respond to educational needs of persons in St. Lucia as well as other countries within the Eastern Caribbean. The instructional format is primarily face-to-face with support through University of Lynchburg’s Internet resources.
